What data we process

Data you send us with the contact form:

  • name, email address and, if you give it, phone number;
  • chosen style, chosen artist and a description of your idea;
  • date, time and IP address of the submission, logged to detect abuse and spam.

Please do not include health information in the form (allergies, treatments, scars and the like): we will talk about it in person at the studio, during the consultation.

Browsing data: like any website, the hosting server automatically logs IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. They are used only to run and secure the site.

Why we process it and on what basis

  • Replying to your request and arranging a consultation or appointment: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Site security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for newsletters, advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.

Do you have to provide it?

No, but without your name, email and a description of your request we cannot reply. The phone number is optional.

Who receives it

Your data stays with our studio. The website and email are hosted by Aruba S.p.A., acting as data processor on servers in Italy/the European Union. Data is not transferred outside the European Union.

How long we keep it

  • Form requests: as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 12 months after the last contact if they do not lead to an appointment. If they do, we keep them for as long as the law requires for the service.
  • Browsing data: only as long as strictly needed for security, according to the hosting provider’s settings.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Just write to info@bigartgallerystudio.com.

If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

This site does not use cookies: no profiling, analytics or third-party cookies. That is why there is no consent banner.

The only thing stored in your browser is the language you choose (Italian or English), in the browser’s local storage (localStorage, key elbig-lang). It is a technical tool needed to show you the site in your language and does not require consent. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Fonts are served from our own server: browsing the site does not contact any external service.

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, Google Maps and our online shop open external sites, with their own privacy policies and cookies. Until you open them, they receive no data from this site.
